Project Summary:
Hanley Consulting were contracted in a technology capacity to facilitate the relocation of two practices into one newly built building.
Hanley Consulting were contracted to project manage, in a technology capacity, the relocation of two practices into one newly built building. This project required us to utilise all of our skills, experience and connections within primary care to ensure a smooth delivery.
Prior to the move, we worked with all stakeholders to enable the Practices and PCN services were to be fully digitised where appropriate, including the implementation of cloud-based telephony services.
As the technology partner on the project, our responsibilities included the moving of clinical systems, servers, telephony systems, wifi and networks (HSCN)
Whilst on the project, Hanley Consulting also took on the responsibility of organising the removal partners as well as all digital and printed communications. Digital communications included the creation and management of webpages on both respective sites and social media management (Facebook).
Printed communications included the design and distribution of awareness posters. We partnered with the PPG on this which helped not only meet our distribution targets but to also strengthen relationships with the practices and the community.
Both practices will co-habit the Beaconsfield Medical Centre from July 2022. Despite minor delays due to building issues, due to the ability to pool our resources and hone our experiences as a team we were able to support our clients in every technical aspect of the move. Given the experience gained and the knowledge learned, we look forward to working on more GP practice moves.
